Simple Rajma Cury



Ingredients:

Rajma = 150 gms 
onion = 2 medium sized 
Tomato = 1 large 
Green chilli = 2
Ginger-garlic Paste = 1 tbs
Garam masala Powder = 1/2 tsp
Coriander Powder = 1 tsp 
Salt to taste

Methods of preparation

  1. Marinate the rajma overnight.
  2. Boil in a pressure cooker till it comes soft.
  3. Heat oil in a pan and add the ginger garlic paste and chopped onions.
  4. Saute till brown.
  5. Add the green chillies, tomatoes and cook till pulpy.
  6. Then add coriander powder, salt and 2 cups water and boil well.
  7. Add the rajma and cook on a low flame for 10-15 minutes.
  8. Add the garam masala powder and cook further till the gravy thickens.
  9. Garnish with coriander leaves.
  10. Serve hot with steamed rice.
