Vegetable Manchurain Recipes

Cabbage = 2 cups (Grated)

Carrots = 2 cups (Grated)
Spring Onion = 1 (Chopped)
Green Chilies = 2 (Chopped)
Garlic = 3-4 Flakes (Crushed)
Corn Starch = 2 tbs
Soya sauce = 1 tbs
Pepper Powder = 1tsp
Sugar = 1 tsp
Pinch of ajinomoto
Oil for deep frying
Salt to taste

Methods of preparation
  1. Mix grated carrots and cabbage and squash the water out from them.
  2. Take a bowl and put squashed cabbage and carrot in it, add 1 tbs corn starch, and hopped green chilies and little salt to it.
  3. Make small balls (ladoo) of the mixture.
  4. Take a deep fry pan and add oil in it to heat, then deep fry the balls till gets golden brown colour.
  5. Now take another pan and put 2 tbs oil in it to heat, then add spring onions, green chilies and garlic and saute it.
  6. Then add water, pepper powder, ajinomoto, sugar, salt and soya sauce. And boil it.
  7. Mix 1 tbs of corn starch with half of a cup cold water, then pour it into boiled gravy and stir it.
  8. Now add fried balls into gravy . Now cook the vegetable manchurian for 3-4 minutes, garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.
